Privacy Policy

The short version

Your canvases, notes, and ideas stay on your Mac. The AI runs entirely on your device using Apple's Foundation Models. We don't see your thinking, we don't sell your data, and we never will.

What we collect

When you create a Noda account (optional — the app works without one), we collect:

• Email address — for account login and purchase receipts
• Name — if you choose to provide one
• Basic usage data — app opens and feature usage (no canvas content, no personal data). This helps us understand which features matter most.

What we don't collect

• Your canvas content, notes, sticky notes, or connections
• Anything you say or type in brain dump
• AI processing results (all on-device)
• Screenshots or screen recordings

How we use your data

Your email and account info are used solely to manage your account, process payments, and send you important updates (like security notices or major feature launches). We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.

On-device AI

Noda's AI features run on Apple's Foundation Models directly on your Mac using Core ML. No data is sent to any server — not ours, not Apple's, not anyone's. Your brain dumps are processed locally and never leave your device.

Third-party services

• Supabase — stores your account information (email, subscription status). Hosted in the US with encryption at rest.
• Stripe — processes payments. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe is PCI Level 1 certified.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and basic analytics. No third-party tracking cookies. No ad networks.

Your rights

Whether you're in the EU, California, or anywhere else, you have the right to:

• Access your data — see everything we have
• Delete your account — we remove all your data from our servers
• Export your data — take it with you
• Correct any inaccurate information
